The only good thing was the free coffee. Paid £80 for a haircut that i wasn’t happy with, she trimmed the ends but did not cut any layers in, even when i asked. I instantly regretted walking into the salon when i was met with a load of hard stares from all the staff there, toxic gossipy unprofessional behaviour from a bunch of women who don’t want to be there. Don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews on other review sites as they are fake. Save your money and time and look for a proper hairdressing salon where the staff are actually qualified!

I used to be someone who kept changing hairdresser every 6 months. Since I visited Kleins Hair and Beauty in West India Quay you wont catch me going anywhere else. Not only the salon is spotless, which is very important, but all the staff is very friendly and attentive, they make you feel comfortable and at ease. They are true professionals, always advising me for the best colour or hairstyle that suit my face features. From the colour to the cut and blowdry, the service is of the highest standard and they are constantly good, which means I always, and I mean ALWAYS, come out extremely happy. My husband, my colleagues, my friends they all comment on how great my hair looks. Every time I go to Kleins , I know I can just relax in my chair while sipping my coffee, enjoy the pampering and looking fabulous at the end of my visit. Wish I had discovered this little gem in West India Quay much earlier!

Horrendous - I went for the brazilian blowdry which, because my hair is very dry and fine, usually works really well. I had also used the product they used - kerastraight - before with excellent results. Kleins applied it in such a stingy manner that there is NO EFFECT after only 1 wash! In fact, my hair appears even curlier/less treated, probably because the straightener's heat broke down some of the hair's strength. I am extremely disappointed - its a huge waste of money.

I've been getting my hair cut by Keely Klein for some years now. As do most of my colleagues. She used to work for the Gentry, but now she's gone out on her own. I cant really comment on the more feminine waxing and facial services, except Keely says once they start they keep coming back. So they you are. If you are at the wharf you can go to a big name salon for a dose of attitude from a trainee with a "Senior Stylist" title. Or you can trot over to Keely and get a real haircut!
