I have had hydrafacial done with acne booster at oxford circus branch. I was asked to come early for consultation prior to facial. I thought I’d be able to discuss my concerns and what I wanted during the consultation but no formal consultations happened with regards to the skin concerns and the facialist did not tell me about different kind of hydrafacials they offer. I had to ask her and then she recommended me acne booster one. Anyway, I wasn’t really bothered up to that point. But when the facial started she did not explain anything to me she did not tell go through the steps when she was doing them or what she was applying. They charge extra £40 for boosters I don’t even know whether I had a booster or not because she didn’t tell. No idea which peel strength she used and when did she apply because she was just putting things on my face and removing straight after. I didn’t feel any stinging at all from the peel so not sure if she used it or not. I have not seen any result at all. My skin looks the same, congested with black heads. Skin texture is the same. I have had hydrafacials in the past with skin clinic and I’m aware what to expect. I wasn’t expecting a drastic change anyway but I feel like I wasted £140 I could have cleansed my skin better at home. Though she recommended me to book 3 sessions while she was doing the facial but I had made up my mind at that point that I’d not come back here again because of professionalism not being able to see difference at all. She should have explained to me the steps and what she was applying. I usually don’t leave reviews but I got to a point where I think I should make people aware as they are charging a lot of money and one would expect a better service plus I travelled all the way from Kent. I wish I read the reviews early. Complete waste of money and time. Please save your money and stay away from this clinic.

Warning - Their treatments can cause permanent pigmentation marks on your face which is what happened to me. They said they're performing an "investigation", but over a year later - I'm still waiting to hear from them.

DO NOT THINK ABOUT WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE. I have had THE WORST experience with this company. Prima in the Maddox clinic did not taken into account my skin allergies and mis sold me products which cause my skin to have a severe reaction. I had spent £500 on acid peels and products for my skin to be worse off. I contacted the clinic in July to get a response and I am still chasing the clinic to get a SENIOR member of staff to get back to me. They say on their website that complaints will be handled within 20 working days.. more like 20 working years. DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. The company is so poorly run and a complete waste of money. You will come out with worse skin than you started with and at a loss!

I have been having Botox for over 10 years at various establishments. Today I had Botox and for the first time lip fillers. The nurse was the most professional practitioner I have ever met. She made me feel completely at ease and explained in depth about the procedure with her vast knowledge. I had no hesitation in letting my daughter 19 have her lips done after the service I received. She is an asset to DS and when booking again I will only use her.

I have been having treatments for my hair in between my eyebrows and some facials for my skin. I cannot thank Eden enough at the Barnet branch for all the treatments she has done. My skin looks and feels so much better and my hair growth is so much better even after 3 treatments. Being a male I thought I would feel uncomfortable attending a female environment but that is not the case everyone at Barnet branch makes me feel welcome and at ease.

I have just had my last treatment at Destination Skin in Bristol with the person I dealt with. She has made my treatment at this salon a pleasure due to her professionalism and customer focus approach. She talks you through what she is going to do and answers any questions asked quickly and efficiently. She puts you at ease and ensures throughout the treatment that everything is ok, the intensity level is ok and that you don't want to stop. With a lot of salons these days, you encounter a lot of younger members of staff who whilst 'trained' are experienced and don't necessarily know how to talk to put which is not an issue with this salon and this particular member of staff. It is a shame she is leaving and I wish her success in her future career, where ever that might be. x

I have been a client at the destination skin clinic in bristol for 3 year this summer. The girls in the clinic are fantastic they always go out of there way to help you with your needs and they are very personable. The hair removal laser has changed my life after having my underarms done I was so impressed with the results I went for the legs, bikini and top lip and haven't looked back since. The facial peels are great especially the radiance blue peel if you want a refresh and strangely relaxing. The most recent treatment I am crazy about is the Derma stamp. I highly recommend!

I spoke with the Assistant Manager about some discrepancies. I explained to her that there was discrepancies in the amounts I paid for products. I returned an unopened sunscreen worth £28 pounds, and was told I only had £27 pounds in my account. I had another consultation, and was told that £20 pounds of that amount only was refundable - later one therapist says that the consultation fees is £20, the other says £25. I should have been able to receive at least £25, but was never given the option. In an effort to get my money back, I bought an Obagi Vitamin C serum 10%. I paid close to £60 pounds for this product. I was told I received 10% off as a special courtesy extended to me. However, when I called as an anonymous customer, the receptionist automatically deducted 10% when informing me of the price. I asked to speak to an manager right away (while on the phone), but was told I would be called back. I never was. Furthermore, I never receive a receipt informing me of my purchases. The only receipt I ever receive is straight from the card machine, telling me only of the total. Given all these discrepancies, I felt there was a loss of trust between the company and myself. Destination Skin has good treatments, but I was being ripped off. I asked the Assistant Manager for a full refund on my Obagi product as an apology for their mishaps, and as a way to mend broken trust. She was incredibly rude, talked over me, insinuated I had an ulterior motive and insisted I make my intentions clear. When I tried to speak, she said loudly, ‘You aren’t listening to me’. As a customer paying hundreds of pounds to the company, this is not how I expect to be treated. She informed me that she would see about the refund and give me a call. She never gave me a call - this was the second time that my concerns were completely ignored. When I came in two weeks later for my fourth and final peel session, the receptionist was oddly cold and I felt the staff was walking on eggshells around me. I was made to feel embarrassed for even mentioning the fact that I disagreed with their payment policies. As I was sitting there, I watched another customer who paid, who stated, ‘Wait - I thought my treatment was cheaper?’. She paid and was given the same receipt I was - the one from the cardholder and not an official receipt of purchases.

Have been going to Destination Skin clinic in Cardiff for 10 years. They have looked after me well over the years. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional at all times. There are lots of treatments to choose from, and the staff are always happy to go through the different procedures, in detail, in order to allay any doubts or concerns. I have CACI treatments, amongst others, and always feel relaxed and refreshed after each treatment. My skin glows. At my age, every little helps, so the treatments and products Destination Skin advise for me is gratefully received. A super clinic, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional staff who keep me returning year after year. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have recently started going to skin destination for laser hair removal treatment and after 3 treatments i am amazed with the results! I definitely think it is worth the money.

I have been attending Destination Skin for some time and have found the results for laser treatments really good. Although I find that treatments can be costly I do try and book a course of treatments when they have offers on. The only downside I feel is that the re-payments for treatments should be extended to four/five monthly repayments as not everyone can afford to pay over three months especially if the total amount is £500 plus. I have recommended Destination Skin to a friend who has brought a course of treatments and is happy with the results. I am now looking at trying out some of the facials destination skin has to offer.

I had a great experience at the site in Birmingham. The staff are really friendly and professional. I have seen great results from my electrolysis and laser sessions. K. is very professional and is very knowledgeable.

I used the obagi nuderm with the Manchester HOF branch. my skin started forming lines with this system and I was told its nothing and I have to continue the system. it just got worse and worse my skin was hurting eyes were really sore ruined my whole face. The clinic manager and their nurse jan both don't know how to be professional at all! She would just talk over you and mumble stuff under her breath. utter disgrace. you wont get anywhere with these if things go wrong for you. they wash their hands from your concerns once taken your money!!!!!!!!

Terrible! Their company mission statement doesn't reflect their care. They seem to lack communication and run for the hills when you have a problem. With good service and professionalism - it's not about how you act when things go well its all about how your deal with problem and resolve issues. They ignore them. Their staff seem disinterested and they seem to have a very odd company structure where no one communicates. Customers beware, I had a very very bad experience.

My problem started when I developed a brown patch on my skin after having peels with destination skin. I was so worried about this I went to see a dermatologist (privately). He advised that this was due to the peels. At no point was I advised that hyperpigmentation was a side effect of the treatment. This was just the start of my problems with destination skin. I went to have botox there which I have had done with them several times before with a lovely nurse. I went to my appointment to find a completely different injector and to top it off I was left waiting for half an hour when I had an appointment. At no point did any member of staff apologise or offer to reschedule. My treatment went well and I was booked in for my two week check up. During the two weeks the botox set in and I began to resemble Mr Spock! So I called destination skin to confirm my next appointment and they had no record of it! they made no effort to rebook my previous appointment for the same time. Instead I had to take time off work because all of the evening appointments were gone. To make things worst I complained as per their Complaints procedure documented on their website. I got an acknowledgement over eight weeks ago and have not heard a thing since. I messaged destination skin via social media. They advised someone would get back to me that day. Still nothing! I have spent an absolute fortune with destination skin not only on treatments but on products too. It's absolutely disgusting the way that they have dealt with my complaint. My word of advice is to avoid them completely. If you have skin problems pay the extra and see a dermatologist someone who I actually qualified to look after skin!Don't make the same mistakes I did!

I had fillers on my face at Destinationskin in Guildford House of Fraser (marionette lines) and it made absolutely no difference at all, in fact it made it look worse as it was incorrectly injected at the side of the line. I complained and was told there was a difference... but as I know my face and look at my face every day I knew they were lying. I was deeply disappointed as the procedure was costly, but they took money and didn't care. I found out the Doctor was leaving the next week. I have since had it done again, and am thrilled by the results. Never go to Destinationskin they are unprofessional, uncaring and unskilled. I wish there was a no star option as that would accurately describe my experience of them.

Laser hair removal Muswell Hill clinic. The therapist who attend to me on two occasions was unfriendly & cold (Had more sessions in a different clinic) When asked what I thought of the results so far, I answered honestly - not that great. 'I'd have expected less re-growth by now'. I was polite & merely responding to a question. This was meet with defensiveness. The girl asked me the same question twice within the space of 2 mins - clearly not listening to my response. I questioned why I needed a test patch when in the previous clinic 12 weeks after sun exposure (with no real tan) was ok to proceed - it was not so much what she said but the way she said it- really quite grumpy & a bit 'off' - as though I'd questioned her skills. Which I had not. She took pictures of my upper lip - without telling me what she was doing and why. She didn't say a word. I am sure in the small print ,you sign to say its ok - but not seeking verbal consent is appalling. Not even to say 'I'm going to do this , is that ok with you?' They are constantly trying to get you to sign up for another 3 or 6 sessions - tempting you with the constant sale prices. Its a really hard sell. When you decline its as though you've offended them. They are always trying to get you to book your next session & when you say you want to wait for the re-growth this is meet with raised eye brows. To be honest I've had mixed results with re-growth. Under arms so far so good. But lip - not so good. This is a treat for most people - a little luxury, you expect to be welcomed & relaxed. Not the case in Muswell Hill clinic. I will never use Muswell Hill again - most unfriendly clinic Ive been to. I can not say how disappointing it is to have a therapist treating you, to be so cold & have such an attitude problem.

It is getting so important in this society to look great and always young, that some of us would do pretty much anything to get it. We leave the "skin experts" to lie to us and to promise we will be looking fabulous just for trying these miraculous treatment without thinking deeply of the long term conditions of them. I have my own experience with hair laser removal. It is painful as starter, they burnt me in my first try, but still I gave it ago a year after again. It is not permanent, and normally you will need 9 sessions, majority of the clinics will not tell you this. Also you will need a "just in case" session once per year after the treatment. In general, I think it is a waste of money. Specially if you cannot have the laser due to some medication and they forced you to pay as it happened to me in Destination Skin . They just tell you what you want to hear, they won't give you any terms and conditions, and then you will be left with hair and no money!! Destination skin has clinics in other places, and for what I've heard the quality and the service is very poor
