“Destination skin cardiff”

Written on: 13/08/2015 by Keely14 (1 review written)

My problem started when I developed a brown patch on my skin after having peels with destination skin. I was so worried about this I went to see a dermatologist (privately). He advised that this was due to the peels. At no point was I advised that hyperpigmentation was a side effect of the treatment. This was just the start of my problems with destination skin. I went to have botox there which I have had done with them several times before with a lovely nurse. I went to my appointment to find… Read Full Review

“Waste of Money”

Written on: 01/05/2015 by JaliyahFigueroa (1 review written)

I had fillers on my face at Destinationskin in Guildford House of Fraser (marionette lines) and it made absolutely no difference at all, in fact it made it look worse as it was incorrectly injected at the side of the line. I complained and was told there was a difference... but as I know my face and look at my face every day I knew they were lying. I was deeply disappointed as the procedure was costly, but they took money and didn't care. I found out the Doctor was leaving the next week. I… Read Full Review

“Destination Skin Muswell Hill Clinic”

Written on: 29/01/2015 by 145Whittaker (1 review written)

Laser hair removal Muswell Hill clinic. The therapist who attend to me on two occasions was unfriendly & cold (Had more sessions in a different clinic) When asked what I thought of the results so far, I answered honestly - not that great. 'I'd have expected less re-growth by now'. I was polite & merely responding to a question. This was meet with defensiveness. The girl asked me the same question twice within the space of 2 mins - clearly not listening to my response. I questioned why I… Read Full Review

“Poor advise that changed as I was pulling faces”

Written on: 20/06/2014 by mariaj154 (1 review written)

It is getting so important in this society to look great and always young, that some of us would do pretty much anything to get it. We leave the "skin experts" to lie to us and to promise we will be looking fabulous just for trying these miraculous treatment without thinking deeply of the long term conditions of them. I have my own experience with hair laser removal. It is painful as starter, they burnt me in my first try, but still I gave it ago a year after again. It is not permanent, and… Read Full Review

“Disappointing IPL Results”

Written on: 31/10/2013 by nataliecbird (4 reviews written)

I visited Destination Skin and took up their offer for IPL for extended bikini and underarm. They recommended 9 treatments for underarm and 6 for bikini at a cost of around £500. The treatments were generally not painful, though where there was greater density of hair, it did hurt a bit, particularly in more sensitive bikini areas. After 2 weeks, the hair typically shed from the follicles and then slowly grew back. The first 4 treatments were 4 weeks apart and the subsequents were 6 weeks… Read Full Review

I bought three facials at Destination Skin as a voucher on a group deal site. When I arrived for my first appointment I was given a VERY detailed medical history to complete. The therapist advised me shortly after that as I had been treated for skin cancer (two years ago - fully discharged) I could not have my facials without a letter from the consultant who treated me. This may well apply to other medical issues in the past;certainly EVERY aspect of your medical past is investigated on the… Read Full Review
