I cannot urge you enough to stay away from these awful people. Blunder after blunder, the staff seem completely clueless as to their own internal processes, feeding customers conflicting and incorrect instructions designed to make you give up on claims.
Never have I dealt with a more stressful company in my life ; of health insurance is meant to provide peace of mind you will not find it here. It took 6 months for them to 'recieve' notes from my GP, only to then reject my claim on the basis my symptoms started before the policy starting date. Which is down to yet another error of theirs. An 'HR blunder' meant my policy started 6 months after the date it should have started , thereby unjustly excluding me from cover.
I'm now told I have to wait '8 weeks' pending investigation into their various failures.
The NHS is infinitely quicker than these malevolent clowns. Please if you value your sanity and emotional well being, stay well away from AXA.
