My husband purchased these headphones a few months ago, and to be honest, he hasn't lost interest in them. Usually with headphones, one side always tends to stop working, or isn't as loud as the other. With these so far they are the same as when we bought them. Not only do they work great, enabling him to listen to music as loud as he wants, but it doesn't let the sound seep out, so cannot be heard by anyone sitting next to him.
