I have tried to get my Halifax online account going for 4 weeks - what a palaver and I still don't have one. Barclays was so safe and easy wish I had stayed there. One has to wait for bits in the post and then they dont work the previous one is mixed up with the present one it is awful. Better set up method needed desparately. I am going back into the branch and then back to Barclays if that does not ...

As many before have said trying to access my account can be like pulling teeth what with all the various security procedures and passwords. When I incorrectly entered my password I had a nightmare on my hands trying to re-set

Item: Halifax Mini Cash ISA
When Halifax discontinued their Liquid Gold rate my branch advised me to transfer to this Cash ISA and I enjoyed the tax free advantage and higher rate.
When (after 4 years) I cleared my credit cards and personal loans the annual ISA limit ( £3600) became a problem when I started trying to use the account to save and pay for christmas and holidays.

Item: Halifax Bank Current Account
The Halifax charged me £35.00 for being 34p overdrawn. When I queried it and threatened to change banks they offered me a one to one advisor to manage my account. They will take their money from you and even put you overdrawn therefore getting extra money from
