First time at Toni&Guy - asked for a light brown/honey base with highlights around face/crown - I was not offered a strand test & consultation was limited. When towel came off I knew it was a mess - colour was bleach blonde on top and dark underneath. I was a badger! The colourist tried to persuade me it would calm down when toner was put in - aye-right! The cutter was just going to start cutting-I asked her to stop as was not happy with the colour, so the colourist then literally slapped on lowlights. It was awful. 2nd visit I thought surely will get it right this time - was a slight improvement. 3rd time last month-I felt like crying. Again the colourist was totally disinterested-she had to rush away for her train and left me - nobody checked my colour and I was left with a junior. The cutter again was ready with the scissors-I said I felt the colour was too yellow and brassy but as the colourist had gone - nobody was bothered. Not even the manager approached me to ask. I went back after a few days - a new colourist again slapped on dark brown - advising the colour had appeared not to have taken - she never protected the highlights-just slapped on the dark stuff-again I knew it was far too dark this time - I had a brown "cap around the top of my head. I was so frustrated - felt like there was no care to customer service- only interested in generating money "having treatment today?" for and extra tenner. I won't be back. Don't go. On 3 visits I had to go back twice to get the colour sorted. Poor and very disappointing service - I felt the salon did not really care - just get done and out the door. .
