Doncaster Salon - Poor Customer Service

My teenage daughter was overcharged and as a student every penny counts! I contacted the salon and the girl who'd done her hair was very rude to me on the phone! She didn't even have the courtesy to apologise! They agreed to refund the difference. However, I complained about their service on their Facebook page and I received a phone call from one of the directors who was very apologetic. He informed me that this member of staff was leaving and I agreed to give them another chance. He promised that another member of staff would call back the following day (as it was out of hours) to try and restore our faith in the salon. Unfortunately, they didn't try very hard and left it until 2pm before attempting (called once whilst I was driving and a couple of hours later tried again and left it to ring 3 times not giving me chance to answer it!!). Two days later I'm still waiting for my phone call! Is this really the way to treat unhappy customers? Their obvious lack of respect and indifference to both myself and my daughter has now resulted in them losing 2 clients!! Just to add that my daughter did get her refund after trekking into town on the bus AT HER OWN EXPENSE and was made to feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed by the staff behind the till. Well done team - she doesn't have a lot of confidence at the best of times and to treat her like that was just the icing on the cake! They've deleted my complaint off their Facebook page and have stopped me from writing on their wall - obviously don't like complaints being publicised to other potential clients! Would I recommend this salon - MOST DEFINITELY NOT!
