Awful Horrible Experience

Do not waste your time or your money! This place is disgraceful! I had such an awful experience that I will NEVER return. Let’s start with what we wanted. My daughter wanted to color her hair 2 colors and get a cut. I called ahead to get an estimate and was quoted $65 per color = $130 plus an additional $20 for long hair plus an additional $17 for hair cut. Total estimate = $167.00. But they told me the amount may be different once they saw my daughter in person. It was. Once they saw her, they quoted me $204 total. I still agreed and we proceeded. FIVE (yes 5) hours later, she was done. We went to pay and was told the total was $245. What?! What happened to $204? Our stylist said the price was more for the haircut, drying, and styling. Not once did ask if we wanted hair dried and styled. Whatever…after 5 hours, I just wanted to go home. I wrote a check and then she told me that they did not accept checks! Nowhere in that place is there a sign that says “No personal checks accepted” so I am suppose to know this?! My husband had our debit card. I had to call him (in front of many people) and ask for the card. I went home embarrassed, frustrated, and disappointed. I called the corporate customer service line to complain. My response back was in email form saying “Supercuts is a la carte and we pay for each service”. Thanks for nothing Supercuts! Bottom line, Supercuts is NOT affordable, NOT customer focused, and NOT worth it! They should change their name to Awfulcuts!
