Don't do it!

I went for a trim and to put in a short layer at the bottom of my hair, which I get cut once it gets half way down my back. The lady put in a series of cuts and frays and feathering that I didn't see, as it was in the back of my head, but once she started doing the front I freaked out. she gave me over 6 inches of crappy cutting! I started explaining it wasn't what I wanted, and instead of being a professional, she ripped off the cape/cover and told me to come back for a manager and she was done with me. So I walked around for over a day with a half a head of cut hair! The manager also refused to cut it how I wanted (I said just chop it back to one length) and she explained how layers work. Yes, I know how they work, I know what I wanted. Give the customer what she wants. If I said a half a shaved head and a side Mohawk, you should give the customer what they want. I ended up going to a real salon right after. Just don't skimp. Go to a salon to certified people who have experience and know what they are doing. It was SO BAD.
