Bought cloud 9 straighteners as a change from GHDs after trying them at the hairdressers. Glide over hair and make hair smooth. Unfortunately after 14 months they have now broken and constantly beep and the lights flash but they don't heat up. Very disappointed as they were expensive and have lasted only just over a year. I've had my GHDs for at least 6 years and had no problems. I will be returning to GHD
