“Burnt hair”

Starting off this hair iron worked great. I was using it at 200' where my old iron was 210'. This made my hair straight in seconds & was perfect for curling. Iv been using it for 3 months now twice a week and my hair is totally ruined. Full of split ends & very coarse. My hair was naturally wavy but if I just let it dry naturally its dead straight & limp.
I had really good hair before using this. I was also using a heat protection spray but the damage has been done.
For occasional use the iron is good but I wouldnt recommend it for normal use as it really damages your hair over time.
