“Brighton”

The Brighton club was great when it was an Esporta, it had a sophisticated feel about it as it was one of their 'premier' clubs. Virgin moved in, painted the place red, dressed their staff in red fleeces and gradually the place has deteriorated massivly.

Why did they need to replace all of the lockers with padlocks, they didn't need to.

The manager is never around, I don't even know if they have one.

Used to have nice girlchrist and soames products in showers and now they been replaced with generic slimy non smelling cheap shower gel.

I have visited a few of the classic clubs as a guest, and they seem to pour money into them - you get nice molton brown products, fluffy white towels, no padlocks for lockers, and they don't use the cheap red paint they splatter all over the cheaper clubs.

I understand the classic clubs are more expensive, but membership here is not cheap, and the staff are just awful now.

Really wish Esporta had never been sold, before virgin bought it the gym here had been refurbished really nicely - it was really cool with good star trac equipment and the gym floor really worked. Virgin came in, ripped it all out and now with have a bland gym, with cheap technogym equipment that is so slow to respond, the televisions never work on the machines, I could go on.

I only still go there as there is no alternative near me, otherwise I would.

Please Brighton, give it a bit of tlc and give us our premium club back.
