I joined Roko gym in York last year

Positives: Large building with lots of parking space near a large Tesco. The machines were new and the spa area well structured. A Costa coffee in the large lounge area.

Negatives: Service by gym staff was average. No real enthusiasm. Difficult to find somebody to ask for advice or help. Big gym area with only one fountain!!! At the end of contract you continue to pay monthly which is the norm but they need 3 months notice to cancel your membership. So if you leave it to the last minute of your contract then you pay extra 3 MONTHS. At my previous gyms this was only one month.

Advice: Either pay in advance for 1 year or give a notice asap.
