LA FITNESS VICTORIA: RUBBISH

I didnt even sign up to the gym and I still had a miserable experience. So I wanted to have a look at various gyms as I was new to London, the victoria was the closest one to me and I thought I would pop round.

When I came in and asked if i can take a look round, they were nice enough and showed me round talking me through it, so that was good but the gym itself was pretty poor. Too small and crowded, i literally had to jump over a man using the barbell it was that cramped, so I said not for me.

However they asked me to sit on the chair and try to get me to sign a contact here and then, I was like no but they said 'why cant you sign it today', I hate forced sales tatics and was no prepared to lose my hard earned money for a annual contract that was too expensive for its own good for a glorified personal gym.

So after much persuasion I literally had to get up and say I had to go.

Mind you this was before I found out how shambolic la fitness' reputation is and judging from its universal score of 1/5, I'm certain it merits that score and I for one, am relieved that I went with my head and not signed up!
