We were looking for a private pool for my son to learn to swim in and LA Fitness had a 'family' deal on of £40 per adult and £8 a month for a child to come along too.
We took advantage of a 3 day free 'test' and went with our son to LA Fitness in Brighton. When arriving I asked if there was a cafe where I could sit while my partner and our son swam, "no but we do have a coffee machine". I then asked what the wi-fi key was, "Sorry we don't have wi-fi". My partner then asked where the children's pool area was, "we don't have one".
So what's the point in offering a children\family deal if you have no children's facilities?
Then they announced you have to use the NCP car park on which they have a small discount. Paying for parking every time we use LA Fitness would have pushed them well into the same price bracket of excellent gyms nearby.
How this company stays in business in 2013 with such an outmoded approach is absolutely beyond me.
IMO, completely avoid these people, they are completely clueless.
