I joined la fitness burnham two years ago with a fee of £47/month in a 6 month contract then cancelled my contract and was informed since i cancelled too close to the end, basically a month in advance,of my contract, i will be charged an extra month and the fee is different,£65!i ask them why and they said because its an extension of the 6 month contract...after a year pause from the said gym, renewed my contract again, god knows what was i thinking!As I love exercising in groups, I prefer joining classes rather than walking on the treadmill or lifting weights on my own. The problem is, every time you go online or call to prebook one week in advance, the classes are full. Leaving me ringing daily for a cancellation or waiting outside a class to see if I have a spot! I have to do this while paying £47 a month! At one point I booked myself on body balance and body pump since that's the only ones available, unfortunately I was ill for tha week and did not manage to go. Next thing I knew, when I tried booking online and via phone, they informed me I have three strikes and is not allowed to book any class for 14 days!!! I give up! La fitness burnham is so unhelpful,inconsiderate and the most rubbish gym I've joined. Should've stayed with Reebok, £100/month oesnt seem much for a proper treatment and work out after all .La fitness burnham is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
