i join fitness first this feb 2012 melbourne Australia.at the time of contract agreement i ask them can i cancell my contract if i will not be able to attentd the club , at that time they said cool cool awsome, you can stop when ever you like. i didnt read the contract, i think no body reads the contract , its like a small book, and they will not tell you the fact, that you cant cancel the contratc. i am a student , i dont have time to go gym, they dont agree to cancell, life will not be always same....i am paying $ 86 dollar per month for nothing. this is fitness first... i will never suggest to go any one to join fitness first..cause i have a bad experience...

Sorry, you didn't read your contract?! Did you sign it? I'm stunned that people always sign something they haven't read, and always end up on review centre slating the gym companies.

Despite what the person at the gym said (which really is your word against theirs) as a consumer you need to do your due diligence that what you are signing is right for you.

Why in gods name would you sign a cantract without reading it? Fitness First are not my friends by any means but if you sign a 12 month contract without reading it you have noone to blame but yoursefl!
