If you're the sort of person who likes paying maximum prices for poor customer service then David Lloyd Cheadle is probably for you. The management couldn't care less about the members and consistently ignore any issues raised. It all seems glossy when you do your inspection tour, but once you're a member you'll find that the nice gym equipment doesn't get maintained. You end up reporting issues but they don't get fixed. Ironically they ask for feedback frequently, but I guess unless it's positive they just ignore it.
I'd definitely suggest comparing with other clubs and try to speak to a member who does a lot of the activity you're interested in before signing up.
