I joined David Lloyd, Farnham and subseqentley had a leg injury at work. Would DLK accept this?... NO, they required doctors letter, my doctor charged £18 for the letter, then they said it wasn't produced in good time etc etc etc... The story goes on.

If you have an injury and incapacitated or are made redundant from work, this is bad enough in a recession... David Lloyd will add to your woes by threatening court proceedings and setting debt collectors onto you.

Never ever ever again will I go to a David Lloyd club

I am not surprised as I had been a member for four years and finding that they had restricted the outside pool to such an extent that I can not now use it I tried to speak to someone at reception but they just toild me to write a letter which they will not even address instead passing me to their solicitor who is threatening me with court. There is no such thing as customer service their preference is to simply bully their clients. Obviously they think it is fair to change access to the facilities that you pay so much for so altering the whole nature of what you sign up for and guess what they don't explain that they will do this when you join up. They then expect you to pay 3 mpnths notice when I can't even get to use the pool and all this on a full membership tarriff. Obviously the fact that they have had over four years money is not enough they think they will then take you to court to make you pay for a facility that they then withdraw. I am disgusted with their attitude
