With a 3 month notice period David Lloyd expect written notice with a written receipt from them
I wrote cancelling my membership twice they don't reply to any correspondanceif they can't find any letters you sent if you can't prove they got them they will say they don't exist They take ages to sort out the situation whilst adding on fees all the time they do that
They don't publish any email address which would make this a secure system but communicate with all clubs by email
Their default is to send your details straight to a credit reference agency even before they have settled any dispute
It will become a case of pay them what they want or the costs keep going up with a constant threat of court.
The amount you owe in no way resembles the amount you pay monthly before cancelling.
