I'd put money on this site that all of the reviewer's have joined the gym on impulse without any real desire to work toward their goals. Unfortunately the high user's will be too busy enjoying their training and playing various sports to sit and write a review.
If you had taken the time to read the terms and conditions you wouldn't have any issues with cancellation policies or notice periods.

Not really, as a former National body building champion and have been a guest at this club, its not the kind of place i would ever use to achieve my goals, it has a soulless atmosphere, is overly expensive and the equipment is limited, on the other hand its fine for the people who have money to waste to say they belong to an exclusive Gym...look around and find better options without the pushy salesman...Christian

Unfortunately it was my desire to get on with my chosen sport that has prompted my complaint. I am a keen outdoor swimmer and was attracted to David Lloyd because of its alleged year round outdoor swimming facility. I joined on 21 August having discussed my fitness goals and my requirements and then one month later they put up a sign saying that they are going to close the pool for five months. I am serious about my sport. I have been seriously mis-sold a product. Not all of us are whingers. This is unacceptable.
