I'd ask you to read the review just before this one, from an employee.
The standard of grammar and spelling demonstrated by this individual and they're giving me a lecture on understanding a contract any spiv would be proud of.
Having just submitted my termination I can see why so many people are hoodwinked by the terms and conditions.
If you think you are going to get away with one months notice, then think again. Read the terms of cancellation and they state that you can cancel giving one months notice but this MUST be in month 11, not 12. Now here's the clever bit - your notice doesn't come into effect until one month later so it trips into month 12 and kerching, 3 months notice required in month 12.
So, a member wishing to cancel their subscription must cancel in month 10.
As the previous reviewer state,s this is clearly articulated in such a straightforward manner, anyone could understand it, right ? WRONG !

I think you should check the t&c's. You can give 1 month notice by the end of month 11 to cancel at the end of month 12 I.e. join today you would give notice by the 30th April 2013 to cancel off the end of May 2013. If correct notice is given it is really not hard to cancel. The 3 month notice is not hidden and has been like that for many years. Assumptions are always dangerous, talk to the club and they will talk you through things.

I agree with your comments about the reviewers spelling. Not the best representation. However valid points raised. If people listened and talked to us them these issues would not arise. It's frustrating when we see bad reviews, mainly because you do not see the 1000's of happy members who enjoy being part of the biggest and best health club.

Don't tarnish us with the same brush as some lesser chains, our t&c's,s are very clear, very avaliable and quite simple..... as long as they are followed!
