DW Macclesfield poor hygiene

I've been a member on and off since it was JJB, purely for the location. In the 10 ish years the showers haven't been updated, with moldy grout and dodgy shower heads (trickle), not to mention the unpredictable water temperature.

The spin classes take place in the small studio, the air conditioning is timed to come on 10mins before the class finishes and that is if it's working. The spinbikes are modern but rarely cleaned, if at all.

The exercise mats are the same ones from JJB days so old, warn, dirty and a breeding ground for god knows what!

The loose weights for the exercise classes are tatty and falling to pieces.

There is one dispenser for the blue roll which is on the way to the changing rooms, so little encouragement for anyone in the loose weights or cardio areas to wipe the machines down - resulting in a lot of wet, sweaty equipment.

The steam room I stopped using when I realised it was still the mold ridden dripping ceiling again from the JJB days.

PROS : The staff are lovely.
