Filthy & overpriced

I took out a monthly membership for £42 a month. On my first visit someone had deficated in the showers and the whole place was filthy. The men in the jacuzzi told me that it was for men only so I just had a swim in the pool. The floor had hair all over it and there were people washing their private parts in the sauna...unbelievable! I went straight back to ask for a refund to be told that I had to give them one month notice in a letter. I've been a member at many gyms in the past and this is by far the worst I have ever encountered. One if the staff told me there was bacteria in the jacuzzi anyway so it was best avoided anyway. At the same time one of their sales guys was discussing with a colleague how drugs are dealt in the changing rooms. Avoid it at all costs. If I had known about how filthy the place was beforehand there is no way I would have joined. You don't expect much for £42 I suppose, but this place is unbelievably bad.
