    It was never going to totally live up to the hype and relies mainly on those of us who were in out prime at the time GNR were great to buy this album.     Probably what Guns N Roses would've sounded like if they'd stayed together for the past 15 years. A relief to know that there is every chance that G & R may yet make another album as good as Appetite.

    Maybe 3 great songs on Chinese Democracy and it's good to hear Axl singing again, that has been worth the wait.     Overall, very surprising, did not think i would enjoy this. I was a huge fan of the old stuff and thought this would ruin their legacy. However, Axl has proved me wrong.     I couldn't stop listening again and again to Guns n Roses. His voice is amazingly as good as 17 years ago. Current generation almost forgot Axl, but he's back!
