I read a lot of the reviews for this product, and others, before buying and must agree that although there are a lot of parts, if you understand the process beforehand it is a piece of cake. The frame parts come in plastic wrapped packs which at first I thought were each section packed together but realised were just for packing purposes. I built it on my own and laid every piece out beforehand to ensure the inventory was correct and then built it slowly and steadily, myself, over the bank holiday weekend as I had never built one before. I loosely connected the frame as per instructions before tightening and had no problem with shearing bolts so feel reviewers may have been rushing. One of the parts (the window section actually) had a drill hole missing so I rang the helpline and they were fabulously helpful and a replacement is in the post. The glazing has taken a lot longer than I thought and yes, it took me a while to get used to the way the clips go in but I just laid the long straight bit against the panel and inserted one end in and then flicked the other in - a piece of cake!!!
If buyers read the instructions - more than once, take your time - its not a race, hand tighten the bolts and talk to the helpline in a polite manner, you will be just fine.
I have to wait for some really windy weather to see how it fairs with the elements but the helpline advised silicone sealant and more clips if it proves to be a problem.
