I have a big passion and interest in IT. I studied IT in school, college and university. I am 2010 graduate from City University with a 2.1 hons degree. After graduating secured a position with a big company, however they withdrew the position because of the recession. Since then ive been to interviews and not securing anything. So I enrolled on the Network professional program with Just IT in May 2012. I started off by meeting the MD and doing a small presentation to my fellow classmates and the recruitment counsultants and the career support team so they could get to know me a little bit. Then did a 2 week intensive Comptia A+ course with Andrew, Leo (trainers) who were really helpful and made sure everybody in the class participated. Everybody helped each other out and when we took our exams I know none of us failed, I passed with good scores. During that time we also had support from the career support team (Ben, Toyin, Tyrone) who really helped us with our CVs and understand about the kind of job roles we will be in and the skills needed. We did a second presentation before starting the MCTS Windows 7 this time it was to present ourselfs to the recruitment team who tailor our skills into a position that they find suitable they also helped us with interview techniques and questions. We did our training for our windows 7 and server 2008 with Alex (Trainer) who also undertook this course and he is a guy full of knowledge. Ive taken my Windows 7 so far and passed with 900/1000. Since then Joel (recruitment counsultant) helped me with securing interviews with a very big company and doing mock interviews, he told there are a few good candidates for this position however non of them had undertaken the course. The result was I secured a life changing position with one of the best companies in the world as a technology specialist.
