A bit about myself: graduated in 2011, subject: Multimedia – Game Design.

I was trying to find a job after graduation, but no luck struggling to even secure telephone interviews when applying for jobs. I started my course in February 2012 after a family member had advised me to give it a try (He completed the course a year ago and has secured a 1st/2nd line support role). I would strongly recommend JustIT to anyone that wants to start a career in IT. JustIT allowed me to gain CompTIA A and MCTS Windows 7 certifications and gave me outstanding career support in improving my CV and interview techniques. This has helped boost my confidence and skills, making me a stronger candidate when applying for jobs. They really gave me the drive I needed to apply for more jobs, speak with recruitment consultants and secure job interviews. You are also placed into a 6 - 8 weeks work placement (the best part of the course) after you have completed your MCTS Windows 7 training. You will gain valuable IT support experience depending on where you have been placed for work experience. You could gain 1st line support experience or could gain both 1st line and 2nd line experience like I did. I have now secured a Service Desk Analyst role thanks to the JustIT course. The trainers especially Andrew and Alex as well as recruitment consultants were all very helpful and approachable and had my best interest in mind.

I would suggest that if you are already technically minded in computer hardware, components and networking you should do the CompTIA A qualification by yourself in your own time and purchase the CompTIA A books from Amazon as it is that easy to pass these exams. I regret that I did not do this as this would have saved me money and you would just be wasting money if doing this with JustIT unless you have money to waste and don’t mind doing the certification with JustIT. MCTS Windows 7 however is slightly more difficult than CompTIA A and requires training so you should do this with JustIT. MCTS Windows 7 and Cisco CCNA you will study in your own time while working although I don’t know how I am going to make the time to study for these certifications as working full time.
