Apalling service

Having bought the Powaglide PG-01 on Ebay I needed to replace the batteries and find a charger...No problem..I called Powaglide and ordered a New Charger which took over 10 days to get to me..The owner of Powaglide swore he put it in 1st Class post the next day but I don't believe he did...still with new batteries everything was OK for a few weeks until one day it wouldn't start. Since they have no repair facilities I took it to Elektrokart in Ashford who diagnosed the problem on the spot as a faulty thumb controller....they did tell me that the replacement would have to come from Powaglide and they ordered it the same day as I took it to them. As previously the part did not arrive for almost 2 weeks. Once installed I was up and running again until the Steering column broke off. Not wishing to pay for someone else to do something which is a fairly simple job I called Powaglide to order a spare, the nature of the break and the assembly was not clear so I asked if Powaglide had an assembly drawing of the steering column so I could see what it was I was ordering...none available so I took detailed photo's of the broken assembley and sent them by email with a request to confirm what part I needed....no reply. I called a number of times to ask if PG had recieved my EM and left messages twice. I sent another Email to ask if they were going to respond...no answer... I just got off the phone to them and they denied having received my Emails and Phone messages. Very poor customer service and sounds like a one man band working out of his garage...AVOID
