I have had my GoKart for nearly 4 years now and can't speak well enough of it. The after sales service is without equal.....when I first had the trolley the battery failed and this was replaced by courier within 2 days! The company said they got the occasional duff one and the current one A couple of odd minor parts were replaced after a phone call by return of post.
I recently put the trolley away very wet and in its bag, the speed controller played up as a result (my fault). The company sent a courier and the repaired trolley was returned spotless in 3 days with new bungees, mudguard and scorecard holder which were replaced gratis. The repair and 2 x courier was just over £50.
You may say that a really good trolley would not go wrong at all but mine is worked very hard being used 2 or 3 times a week on an extremely hilly course. It has probably done 500 rounds since I purchased it and it still works great. Friends who have p'caddies etc which cost a lot more are forever having expensive breakdowns and one even had a snapped axle! The GoKart is mainly a strong hard plastic and this is entirely stable and well designed .It looks great and the only difference that I can see is th
The real pluses for me are that it weighs much less than others and folds down very small into a robust bag which fits into the rear "seat" of my 2+ car with minimal effort. The power to weight ratio means that the trolley is very powerful and climbs the steepest of gradients easily . The design is extremely clever and the trolley assembles very quickly. The cherry on the cake was that over the years I have purchased several trolley bags but they never fit and don't last. I purchased a GoKart bag 2 years ago ....it is brilliantly designed, sits snugly on the trolley and is still like new.
Overall, put aside any qualms you may have about "plastic" the unit is very strong but light.
