“Depends on technique”

★★★★☆

written by Fennyboy on 10/09/2012

I only got into golf about 6 months ago but since then I have developed massively and am hoping to get a mid handicap soon, I purchased a half set to start and although the irons were amazing and the hybrid and driver were good the putter was below average. I realized my pitting could be greatly improved by buying a decent putter and after some research I found this on eBay for an amazing price. It's a great putter and I'm holing almost all putts from the awkward 3-10 foot range which is something I couldn't do before. Most reviews said that the small face takes some getting used to but it was fine for me, it feels very soft and the thing that changed mos for me was easily my greater control over distance. I haven't actually come around to buying any new weights for the back but I'm not sure I will as it could change my whole distance control but it's still a good selling point! This is cheaper than most putter but I reccomend buying secondhand clubs as its fa cheaper and some people don't seem to realise that not everyone can afford custom fitting! In summary, this putter is great but mainly suits people who swing straight back, straight forward but it works and it works well.
