I have had the misfortune of placing 2 orders with them. I should have learnt the first time. The 1st order was placed for two items that were advertised by both e-mail at a 'gift horse' price (less than delivery cost together). Order placed with some extra items to bulk out the order. Order acknowledged by Studio24 stating they could not obtain stock for the main items. E-mail received stating ancillary items have been dispatched. I complained to Customer Care as order would not have been placed without the main items being available. Various correspondence between us. Customer Services stated they could now get the stock and this will be sent out immediately. later e-mail received by a supervisor saying they could not get the items. Eventually the delivery cost was refunded.
2nd order placed for personalised child's toys. Order acknowledged by Studio24. E-mail 16/12/2012 stating items have been dispatched. E-mail 18/12/2012 stating they have credited me as they could not personalise one of the items (despite previous e-mail). 2 Orders, 100% failure. Is this just incompetence and a lack of robust business systems or misleading marketing and sales practices? I for one will never use them again as sometimes when you look a gift horse in the mouth, all it does is bite!!
