Applied and was accepted by Littlewoods. 'Great' I thought, that takes care of Christmas...

Was given £500 to spend initially, but whenever I tried to make an order, it was rejected! 2 days later, credit limit gone altogether. Their excuse is because there is a Very.co.uk account registered in my wife's name at the same address and so my Littlewoods account has been blocked until her account shows 6 months' payment history.

Littlewoods are happy to give you credit, but not so happy to let you spend it. Thanks for nothing Littlewoods, account swiftly closed in protest.
