okay so i fpund out i was pregnant. had to stop working as i was a barmaid. so i got an account woth very and littlewoods. Very os cheaper and was so easy to keep up with payments. Littlewoods was for some mad reason unable to set up a direct debit to take payment for what i owed. beong pregnant my memory was terrible. and having a 3year old to care for meant i was very busy. i explained to them that i can pay it but they jist have toake adirect debit or standing order. anyway, they agreed and then i started getting red letters. account arrears.. i called and got this very rude guy that told me if i cant afford to pay then why get the catalog. why am i having a baby if i cant pay £20 odd a week. (as i explained the direct debit situation baby brain and that they had taken 1payment and no more) which at that point i got really peeved off and told them i wont be paying it at all if they think they can talk to me like that.. he replied.. "do what you like madam but i suggest that ypu get a job fast to pay for your kids or ypull find your self in more debt. oh and if ypu dont pay youll be meeting our friendly bailiffs soon. now will you make a payment today or shall i add a £12 late payment fee on for you now?" Wow was my initial thought. after 5 mins of a shouting match with some jumped up jobs worth he not only insults me but charese to do it too. i refused to pay Shop Direct anything but spoke to an understanding woman who got me back on track. i was happy they had thier money and all was good. then red letters. they stopped taking the money?? and i called and was told that i got £12 late payment fees applied 3times in one month.? furious at them and thier yet again rude staff who told me "if u dont like us why open an account" i will not pay them a penny. i owed £165 on very and £230 pn littlewoods. i selected 12months interest. i had interest after 3months. mis sold insurance and cant cancell it. both my accounts have trippled and i dont care. ill see them i court. they record the phone calls but i bet theyd have lo the rude ones to me. Appauling company run by incompetent sarcastic toilet heads. even when i was paying i was getting baliff letters and charges. ill never give them a penny. and ill forbid anyone i know from prdering from them too. Watch Dog here i come.
