I have a few accounts with other catalogues because I am disabled it's easier to deal with, however I have been quite ill and my account was 4.87 in arrears and I had no phone calls to remind me only 2 letters saying make immediate payment,on Boxing Day I changed my payment to minimum every month and I wrongly assumed that any arrears would be added to my payment by direct debit. I spent a few days in hospital with pneumonia when I was a bit better I fell out of my wheelchair badly bruising my already damaged hip and couldn't use my right arm,got a urine infection,had a brain scan with disappointing results all this over the space of a month. So I checked my mail and thought I better pay this 4.87 as they've not taken off my direct debit,sign in and see I was charged £12 for an admin fee! No warning or indication on letters that I was to be charged! This has never happened to me...ever! I maintain all my other catalogues never missed or been late with a payment so my good record been tarnished. Thank you very much! I don't have anyone else to help with my affairs and usually manage fine. I am disgusted at kaleidoscope lack of customer service,someone could have phoned me and asked or reminded me. Don't expect any pity but a bit of understanding goes a long way. After all define customer service?? So in my opinion customer service at kaleidoscope fails monumentally!
