Received a catalogue from this company. There was an item I was interested in. Went online to order it - but it was at a higher price.
Emailed them several times, eventually received one back, advising me to use their UK based call centre to order it at the advertised price..
Tried that. The lady I spoke to did not have a good command of English, after five minutes I gave up spelling out my postcode.
So, I sent in the form from my catalogue, (foolishly) giving my Credit Card details for payment.
A few days later I get a call which purports to be from Easylife. Offers me a free trial membership. I'm in a hurry, so agree.
When the trial membership arrives, it is for stuff I am never likely to use, & I've been charged a non refundable postal charge of £2.99 for the privilege. Ok, my fault for not listening fully to the spiel.
Anyway, there is no sign of the item I ordered being delivered, & what a surprise, no answer to the number to cancel my membership.

Update - When the item I had ordered on the 16/11/2016 had not arrived by early January. I emailed the company.
Today (14/1/2017) I received a reply informing me the order had been cancelled on 5/12/16.
If I had been told that at the time I would have ordered the item elsewhere.
Terrible service. I would not touch this company with a bargepole.
