Engineers are great but office are total rubbish. Been waiting nearly 2weeks with no hot water,haveto order parts, 8 days into waiting heating packs up, have to order parts, so 5 days without heat, if its not fixed when they said this time it will be iI will give so many bad reviews.don't touch them with a barge pole… Read Full Review

I had booked Swale a week in advance and paid upfront. The day before they were due to come, I had a phone call saying that they would not be able to come so I rearranged my plans so that I could be at home on the Thursday morning. “worst company ever”

We had around 15 visits from them over last 6 months. Our boiler is still not working. The engineers are always late, once did not turn up at all. Phoning them is a waste of time, they either dont know whats hapenning or they became quite rude.. I personally dont think they are able to repair anything, they only patch up leaks and go (and come again)… Read Full Review

Customer service good. Engineer friendly and discreet. The only confusion was concerning the check done by the supervisor. It wasn't explained that a supervisor checked the job afterwards. I waited 15 hours for a boiler repair only to find out they had showed up, rang an obviously broken doorbell and immediately left. So I re-booked the appointment (now at 4 days without gas in the middle of winter). They refused to narrow the time down from "some time tomorrow" and when I tried to argue the point they hung up on me. Cold weather and problems with heating is a most stressful time indeed We had Swale Heating put in a new boiler around 2005. the latest problem had x 2 layers. the PCB board was replaced but the problems persisted. The engineer booked a longer time for replacing valves and the pump. We were with British Gas HomeCare 200 for the last 15 years & very good they were too.We were their HomeCare 200.We have been at our address for the last 15 years & we inherited our Worcester Bosch Combi Bosch. British Gas faithfully carried out the annual services & were good at responding to the increasing number of call outs. The boiler took quite a while to get the water heated up. A new Worcester Boiler was fitted on Monday 26/01/2015. At that time the engineer(who was very polite) had been booked at 0800 ...but attended at 1200hrs.Stating that he was in a rush and was very hard pushed as he considered it a two man job, his A.M job had overrun.He fitted three radiators out of seven and one boiler and stayed until after 1900hrs. Impressed with the timing of parts and plumber, everything arrived on time. Electrician was a day late but did not matter as we still had the new boiler working. Liked the way surveyor found solutions to our problems and certainly knew what he was talking about (BGas we not so wise.) Plumber could not have been more helpful an generally accommodated all our requests for the positioning of the boiler and piping. A dreadful company with appalling customer service. I am a customer of 10 years and in this time we have had engineers fail to show for annual service inspections on at least 2 occasions. Call centre staff have hung the phone up....! As recent as today I took a day of work as repairs were due on a broken cold water feed. The boiler that was installed incorrectly TWICE- is now leaking AGAIN! Swale refused to let me speak to a manager until the 8th time I rang and then finally the manager said that he couldn't magic a part for the boiler out of thin air and asked what it was I wanted exactly! My point was that if their staff could do their jobs it wouldn't be leaking AGAIN and that I wouldn't be sitting in my house with no heating or hot water AGAIN for another 2 days until they can get an engineer out to look at… Read Full Review

I have been without heating for 9 days despite an engineer coming out in November and finding the problem and ordering all the parts. I have been lied to and fobbed off and engineers coming out that had no parts to complete the job. I was given a heater which I could not use as the plug heated up and was clearly dangerous.
