Following my enquiry by email I received, by return, a broad estimate of the cost of having a new central heating boiler installed. Shortly after, I was contacted to arrange a visit by the company's representative. He checked the existing CH setup and expained clearly what would be involved in the installation. “allways late, difficult to contact, i.e customer care....”

these people never turn up on time communication is lacking i.e just spent over an hour trying to get someone at customer care to answer the phone to arrange a service because the date they have given us is no good, 2 weeks ago tried to get a fitter out lost 2 days pay waiting for repairs, waited and waited for someone to answer the phone and was told to rebook refused to do this and eventually a fitter arrived and solved the problem in 30 mins. I am a retired, disabled person with a severe speech & mobility problem, living on my own. Boiler packed up - no heating or hot water. Requested required repair to housing association & they booked an emergency call-out. That was on April 9th. Someone did call, but by the time I answered the door, they'd gone. A card was stuffed into the letterbox behind the weather flap & pushed through with the mail two days later. I have had two bad experiences with contractors in the past so I was worried about the contractor I would choose to install a new combi boiler. Well, I am very happy & relieved I chose Swale. During the couple of days he was in our home he always had time to answer all of our questions, He cleaned up and disposed of all the debris after the installation. Complaint made: August 27th 2014 Todays date: March 30th 2015 Engineer sarcastic, didn't finish job correctly so he had to come back the same day. As I opened the door to him he expressed his annoyance using the 'f' word, my 4 yr old grandson was here and heard what he said and then was told off for repeating it at school!!!!!! Absolutely awful do not recommend they are incompetent from the customer service staff on the phone to the workmen that come out. im suprised there company is still being used to be honest. Been 5 week's and between 5 workmen and the call centre my boiler is still not fixed.from missed appointments to not logging the appointment. To turning up with wrong parts. hot water on and off for 7months they havent a clue whats wrong im disabled and find it very distressing having no hot water with 2 children for days at a time i have to stay in for there 24 hour call outs i had a supervisor sent in on 2 occasions thought he might be helpfull but came in with a really bad attitude being rude and looking down his nose at me finally today the workman basically called me a liar saying i have had hot water most of the time n saying i would be charged for wasting… Read Full Review

After being with British Gas for years and receiving an excellent service, we went over to Swale for a new boiler, the reason being Swale were cheaper. This has been the biggest mistake ever for us. It has been a disaster from the very first day that the boiler was fitted. Problem after problem starting from the very first day of fitting.
