I had a boiler taken out & a new one put in with this lying company The fitter seamed ok at first but that was not to be,as he left the apprentist to do all the pipe work & hang the boiler on his own because the fitter kept going away saying he was going for parts which had been all delivered then they flooded my downstairs neighbour instead of takin 2days as they told me it lasted 5days which I had to take the time off work I asked for a bit of compensation a member of there management came to… Read Full Review

“Swale leaves a very stale taste!!”

The poor level of customer service I have received from your organisation. On Friday the 12.08.16 at 10:34am I spoke with one of your operatives -M who reassured me that someone would be out to my property today between the hours of 8am -12pm. My husband then called to confirm and to raise an emergency at 10am this morning to be told that no-one was coming today only on the 24th this date was not arranged? I had a similar problem today and met with poor customer service. The engineer called today saying he was running late. The service was booked for the 22nd when I had arranged for a local engineer would also be here to talk about the state of the boiler and on going problems regarding a leak that leaves a 5 year old boiler rusting. The poor engineer must be frustrated at the poor administration they seem to be suffering from.
I insisted on Monday asking for a supervisor also to attend and the lady I spoke to was rather put out insisting the service was booked for today.

I totally empathise with how you are feeling over their poor customer service and lack of organisation. However , what I can say is that engineer they sent to fix my boiler was professional and polite and I hope that you also get your boiler fixed and have a similar experience but it's not good enough that we as the customer are first dealt with in such an unprofessional way ...good luck Purple11.

“Keep away from Swale”

Turned up 3 hours early, had to take time off work to attend. The engineer then knocked a full cup of coffee down my stairs which went all over my wall paper flooring.I needed some work to be carried out so a second visit and time was arranged and yet again 3 hours before the agreed time Swale turned up,more time off work.The engineer then replaced the part and in the process broke another part which he then made my boiler inoperable (my shower runs off the boiler).The next day contacted Swale… Read Full Review

I had a combi boiler fitted a year ago and im Still waiting for the work to be finshed!!! Pipe work outside my house is terrible, they went threw a fence panal with a gas pipe because they were either to lazy get a ladder or afraid of heights. Its the same height up as my little girl the amount of times i have to tell her to not swing on it. I ring up all the time but nobody turns up at my property and when they do nothing gets done. After three visits from three different engineers, two replacement parts (both of which had nothing to do with the actual problem, a faulty diverter valve) and countless hours off work waiting for an engineer in the 5 hour time slot provided, the leak in my boiler remains and the hot water still isn't working properly. Contacted Swale Heating to obtain a quotation to replace my existing 10 year old boiler - a direct swop over. Engineer visited to review work and provided a quotation for the W/Bosch Greenstar boiler. This was the most competitive quote for a like for like system. Swale then attended and undertook the installation on the agreed date with all work completed in the single visit. Had a engineer come round for some leaking taps he was very rude and did not even take his shoes off when i kindly asked him too as i had new carpet. He also demanded a drink before he started work when my kettle is broken so i had to go to costa coffee and spend an extra 4. 25 on a coffee so he would begin fixing my taps. “Administration very poor. Work scheduling very poor.”

Work did not start on time. Man arrived to collect old boiler and tank etc before the work had even started. Fitter reported the flue did not meet regulations and reported situation to Swale that the salesman had not surveyed the job correctly. Swale are insisting a surveyor has attended and signed the job off. Not so, still awaiting the flue to be finished and a surveyor to attend. Numerous phone calls to resolve issues. “New Central Heating System”

We had a complete new system fitted, using calor gas because we don't have mains gas. This was fitted in the summer before we moved in, so all the boards were lifted for them to lay the pipes and for a total rewire of the house. When the system was fitted they showed us how to run it and it all seemed ok. The system cost just over £7000, which is quite a lot but it didn't seem excessive. It was cheaper than British Gas - and I know why!

From initial contact, sales consultant home visit to installation  and the on site visit by supervisor during installation work, all round first class, hassle free, 5 star service. Installers communication was excellent ensuring that the job specification were correct and exactly what we were expecting. I contacted swale on a monday morning. The same day a surveyor visited and I arranged for a new boiler to be fitted. The fitter came on the Thursday mornng and completd the boiler the same day. The boiler fitter and the electrician who came were helpful, competent and displayed a greta care for detail. We contacted Swale who sent out a surveyor who gave us a quote we were happy with. The work was booked and they sent out two engineers and a young apprentice who were all very efficient and clean workers. The old boiler was removed, as was the old hot water cylinder and water tank in the loft. We also had 3 radiators replaced. All this was done and the new boiler installed in a day.
