“Totally unknowledgeable consultant (salesman)”

I will write my final review at a later date when I have had satisfactory responses from complaints department and managing director. Have had a new boiler system fitted. Was informed that the combi system I required could not be fitted due to lack of flow on the mains. The salesman did not have any equipment to check the flow. Good for nothing except blocking peoples garages with their vehicles. Do not trust their word. They change their mind like the weather. Management are a joke. A child could do a better job. We had a Worcester Combi boiler installed in Jan 2016 We were quoted in April 2015, the price remained the same even after 10 months. The booking for installation was handled very quickly just a matter of days before the installer arrived. Delivery for materials where made when expected. Our fitter Denny completed the job in 1 day, he was very helpful and worked tirelessly to complete the job a day early, even sorting a gas capping due to a faulty hob in our kitchen. “Useless repair policy. Bunch of clowns”

Useless and incapable of even giving a time they will arrive. We moving into a new flat, only 4 years old and had no hot water so we go onto Swale for an urgent appointment. I was told it would be 2 days later between 12:00 and 17:00 and they arrived at 21:00 When he did, he walked in and asked where the gas was. I told him we had no gas, it was all electric and he had to make another appointment. From the moment we got quoted for our new boiler Swale Heating were great. The Installation Engineer and Electrician turned up on time and the whole job was very clean, tidy and professional. An installation Supervisor arrived once job was complete to inspect and make sure we were happy. We also opted for the Nest Thermostat which we highly recommend. This company,s service was excellent from start to finish they came on time and clean up left no mess. We found Swale very competitive on price and I'm very happy with the end result. There were a few issues that weren't a problem for us, but could be for others: We were advised in advance that the materials would be delivered the day before the boiler replacement. We were given an afternoon time slot and the parts arrived in the morning. Luckily we were at home. We were told the job should take one day to complete. Having just seen their advert on national TV this was to be our 3rd and final quote. The estimate was clear and any questions answered by Swale's representative present but there was no feeling of being pushed into making a decision there and then. I told him we had no gas, it was all electric and he had to make another appointment.
That was 3 days later, because they need to put it in the system in the morning, then it has to be allocated etc.
I finally got an appointment, guess when? Between 12:00 and 17:00 3 days later when another engineer arrived who openly admitted he knew nothing about our system and couldn't help even though he told head office that when they gave him the job.
4 appointments later, now 2 weeks with no hot water and next appointment is in 2 days. Guess when?
thats right, between 12:00 and 17:00

It was plain sailing from quote to completion, all staff were extremely professional and courteous. Would certainly recommend them to anyone. It was a little difficult trying to contact them when we experienced a little problem but after that they were on the job and all working correctly. The old boiler of 15 years was removed along with the water tank and a new boiler was fitted. All heaters were drained and new fixtures were fitted. Everything was delivered before the installation. Started work really promptly on the day. Happy to progress work without interruption. Made every effort to keep house as tidy as possible given nature of work. Successfully overcame unexpected problem without resorting to coming back another day. Extremely dissatisfied with my dealing with Swale Heating. I woke up to the smell of burning in my flat on Saturday and realised it was coming from my boiler and contacted my insurance company who referred me to Swale Heating. The boiler engineer came out on Monday (as they don’t do weekend calls) and checked the boiler very promptly and realised it was an electrical issue and advised and electrician had to come out. We were badly let down by Scottish power who would not fix my boiler although I had boiler cover. Decided to put in a new boiler even though my house was under offer. It was a difficult installation and there were problems. However, Swale were determined to sort it out and sent in teams who finally were successful.
