We had a new boiler fitted in June 2017. The fitting was quick and completed within timescale. I asked both the Gas Fitter, Electrician and the Sales Person about their ratings, and was told they fit a lot of boilers for Council Tenants and if they have negative results its because they are Council Tenants! Well, I'm not a Council Tenant (not that there is anything wrong with being a Council Tenant, as a home is a home and is not defined by who you pay rent or mortgage too). After 10 days of having this boiler fitted, I noticed a leak in the ceiling in my hall, the only work that had been completed was Swale Heating. I called them, they stated they didn't think it was their issue, but I have to get a builder in to cut a whole in my ceiling, and then they would be able to have a look at what this issue is. They even at this point refused to confirm that they would sought out this issue, as they didn't think it was anything to do with them. Of course the removal of part of my ceiling was at my cost, and also the repair of the ceiling would be at my cost too. As they had visited twice and still they didn't think the issue was theirs. I got a second opinion from another big Boiler/Plumbing Company, they confirm that the issue had to be Swales as the only work that had been carried out was Swale, on a system that had not been touch since installation 13 years ago. It appears that nothing was wrong with the pipe work, however, if was established that when the fitter changed a pipe of 8 inches, the water system still had water in, when the pipe was cut an amount of water came out. So the system was okay. We spoke to Swale as we had the whole in our ceiling so they could have a look, and their response was nothing. NOT INTERESTED. We had the ceiling repaired and Swale have not replied. The Customer Service person was great when I rang up, he was amazed that no one would get back to me, he even stated that he would get them to ring and had updated my details. SHAME ON YOU SWALE, YOU LACK OF AFTER SERVICE IS DISGRACEFUL, YOU LACK OF MAKING SURE YOUR CUSTOMER IS HAPPY. YOU HAD OUR MONEY, SO NOT INTERESTED IN FOLLOWING UP! SHAME ON YOU. An totally in Moral company.
