WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!!!!
Moved into a house where British Gas were the supplier for Gas and Electricity. When we looked into it, very bad value for money, so we decided to change supplier. Sent meter readings to British Gas for switchover. 2 Weeks later they sent a final bill with much higher readings on. We wrote back with the readings again. Have now recieved 2 more bills with different readings on, claiming to be actual readings, 7 weeks on from the change over date we still have not reached their readings. British Gas threatening legal action, despite the incorrect bills. We have contacted the new supplier who are going to lodge a dispute with British Gas for us.
We were also not impressed with their servicing department when we were in rented accomodation, failed to turn up, or turned up at times that were different to those agreed, then made up problems so that they could avoid doing the work on the day they came out.
