I am very disappointed with this Baumatic BCG600SS cooker, the worst I have ever used in sixty years. The stainless steel looks good and solid and it has a useful storage drawer, but that's where the good points end. The cooker is completely unfit for purpose. The oven burns the bottom of pastry, cakes, bread etc., while leaving the top undercooked, regardless of the position in the oven. I too had a Baumatic cooker some years ago. I also had the problem of the food getting burnt, and some uncooked. When I called in the engineer, his words were the cooker I had purchased wasn't really that good for actually cooking, but was more of a glorified microwave. the above comment is correct, if you really need to cook, don't use the Baumatic..
