Ive recently bought a 210 secon hand - its a couple of years old at least. Last owner has clearly abused it! I struggled to start it, it would run for only a few mins and would die as soon as put under load!
A quick check over revealed the (knackered) spark plug was loose, the fuel pick up inside the tank had perished, causing the cutting out, and the carb' was blocked inside.
I spent 40mins at the most, replaced the fuel pipe and stripped and set up the carb.
Now just spent 3 hours a day for 3 days clearing our new MASSIVELY overgrown garden. It's performed perfectly, far exceeding my expectations in terms of power. Starts first pull every time, hot or cold!
Very pleased and would recommend to anyone - just make sure to drain fuel out of tank when not in use for a while so the fuel pipe doesn't suffer and make sure you keep fuel clean, spark plug swap once a year or so and clean and oil the air filter! Brilliant little tool that keeps fatigue to a minimum!
