“Do not order! No product. No communication.”

Don't be fooled by the shiny website. Gave them £100 of my money on the understanding there would be a speedy delivery - it states 2-3 days. No contact, nothing. I chased 10 days later given I had heard nothing - pretty nice of me. I just changed my plans that weekend and thought it'll turn up by the following weekend. ordered My decking and fencing from this site, 5 days later still no reply to my emails and messages I'm Gutted and think i've lost my money and dont see how I can afford to buy again. “Be warned!”

I wanted a small section of decking to stand a water feature on, as a birthday present. I ordered it in plenty of time for birthday, especially as they advertise 1-3 day delivery. After a week I phoned to ask about delivery, to be told that it would be dispatched that day and I should expect delivery tomorrow. The advert is super, it says the decking kit contains everthing you need including detailed fitting instructions. What a load of RUBBISH. I have not laid decking before so I expected the advert to be true, more RUBBISH. Three day delivery more RUBBISH, I waited well over a week. After receiving the delivery I realised it was all twisted and warped, RUBBISH The fitting instructions I had to ask for twice over the phone, when I finally got them, yes you got it,RUBBISH they were for fitting... I would recommend that any person thinking of buying from edecks to stay clear! They do not deliver in 2-3 days as promised on the website ! My decking is 7 days and counting still nothing has arrived . I had to make 6 phone calls 7 emails and finally got to spoke to someone who was basically the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with I was basically told that it is awaiting despatch but that is all they can tell me!! “Terrible customer service! Actually- appalling!”

Service at delivery was appalling and dumped no where near the garden and left to elderly people to drag it to the garden!!. Quality of timber disgraceful with knots and splits everywhere had so much waste. Phoned to complain and keep being fobbed off with promise of return calls and they never ever do!! On their website it will promise 2-3 day delivery, but you won't get your goods in that time scale. Oh, and you can chase your order from their website, only to be told it will take them another 12 working hours to even look at your order. Now very behind on my build project and still haven't been given a delivery date! (read more)

Update on the above review.
I cancelled this item under the distance selling regulation. Their customer services said 'Fine you can cancel it'. They sent it anyway, it arrived a couple of days later, I wasn't in so it was left with a neighbour. Problem was half the items were missing, the items that were sent were damaged. The neighbours didn't check this and why should they? No arrangements were made with them to accept delivery on my behalf!
Have contacted their customer services via email but no response after three days so have now reported to trading standards.

I ordered a valencia arbour from this company, and it was delivered within 3 days. On unpacking it from its transit strapping, one panel was splintered, and most of the other components were splashed with cement mixture (set on).There was also no assembly instructions,so checking that all components were present was impossible. “Dreadful Customer Service”

I ordered timber to build a shed base and was expecting delivery in 2-3 days as advertised on their website. After 10 days I haven't heard a single word from the company (not even a confirmation e-mail - although the took my payment immediately!). Have contacted my credit card company to request a refund and to register that e-decks is trading fraudulently. (read more)

After reading other reviews I was a bit skeptical about buying from this company, but I am very pleased I did. I bought a decking kit which came within 2 days, after the delivery driver had phoned to confirm. It was easy to put together and looks great. (read more)

EDECKS are the worst company I've ever dealt with !!! Sales people who haven't got a clue about what there selling or doing !!! Mangers are no better either and as for customer service there isn't any !!! I ordered some pvc roofing for my last job just before this Christmas for one of my best customers ! I ordered 4 sheets of corrugated roofing sheets as one of few companies able to do small orders-what a waste of time! Firstly didn't hear anything for a week after placing order until I rang to find out what was happening upon which I was told the order was awaiting dispatch. Within 10 minutes had around 8 e-mails telling me the different order stages and that order would be delivered the next day (obviously didn't bother sending these as and when should have). I have to say that my experiences of this joke of a company backup many of the negative comments already on here. A simple order for some timber decking and they got that wrong from start to finish. Their customer service is absolutely appaling they are rude aggressive and unhelpful. If you are thinking of buying from this joke of a company I would suggest you just burn your money and save yourself all of the heartache. (read more)
“Second to None service”

I had fencing contractors in to fit my fencing. They has not measured correctly so I picked up the phone to edecks at 4pm on Thursday and ordered an extra two panels to avoid delays in getting the work finished. edecks normal turn around is 48 hours but I needed 24. Speaking to them they came back with a next day delivery of £30.00 for both panels. Very fair price, sent by TNT and arrived the next day at 9:30. Absolutely Brilliant. (read more)

I ordered some 4x2 tanalized timber to construct a frame for decking and some other bits and pieces. I was contacted via email saying it would be delivered on the 20th August 2012. I had a phone call on that day from the driver saying he would be 15 mins, great, 2 hours later no wood, did 1471 and phoned the drivers mobile, he said I have delivered it it's on the garden at the back of my house next to the pond, I have no pond I said to the driver, he said you have. Website promises 2-3 days delivery. We waited 7 days for the delivery which turned up with the wrong products. Having spent nearly £900, had to wait another 6 days for the correct items, which was then 2 items short!!!!!! When we phoned to complain originally we were told we couldn't talk to anyone, we had to make our grievance via e-mail and they would respond within 24-48 hours. Two diametrically oesoppd changes occurred as our nest emptied. First, decorating became a Day-After-Thanksgiving tradition. With everyone gathered (and fearing I would procrastinate), they wanted to make sure home was ready for Christmas before they dispersed. Second, I began to give decorations away to my children. While the boxes were open, it was easy to say why don't you take this for your tree? or to offer to store them for next year. Earlier decorating but less of it. (read more)

We ordered an easy decking kit with hand rails and then employed a joiner to tackle the project. The money we saved on the purchase made the joiner more affordable. Delivery was prompt, not within the stated 2 to 3 working days but very close and quality of wood was far beyond our expectations. Our joiner (Jimmy) came recommended as he had experience in this field and he didn't let us down, with the quality of wood and workmanship I would have gladly payed twice the price. Fantastic company! They promote 1-3 day delivery and as promised arrived the 2nd day. The decking was brilliant quality and the guys on the phone were fab (I didn't have a clue what I needed) so helpful! Purchased an arbour from edecks, seemed like a good deal at the time.When it arrived apart from some of the wood being split rather badly and being rather rough in places ( advertised as planned wood) one section was the wrong size and one part was missing. After phone calls and emails I was not able to gain any satisfaction at all, they just did not want to know. there are plenty of other companies, take my advise and try one of them. (read more)
