“Standard Roses”

I recently ordered 2 standard roses for my partners birthday when they arrived they had been packed (Shoe horned) into a cardboard box, both roses had been damaged in transit. I have managed to get one to recover but the other after 2 weeks is still looking very limp and is covered in black spot and very doubtful if it will recover. the quality of packing and the actual roses is very poor and i do not recommend this company to anybody. “Dreadful Service”

I ordered 3 Apple Trees & a Victoria Plum Tree from this company on the 30th May, the plum tree was delivered last week & in a very poor state, the Apple trees will be delivered this week, the Plum tree is in a bad state. “Very bad service.”

I ordered 60 petunia on 12Jan.Del Apr/May.plus other items with earlier delivery.Credit card details taken. The earlier plants arrived as stated. I phoned in April regarding delivery of petunias and told delivery wouldn't be till 19th May. As I would be away I arranged for someone to check every day when they arrived.I returned on 3rd June, no plants. I phoned and told delivery would be 6th June. No plants by 8th. Thank you for your recent review, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment ordering from us.
We would have written to your regarding the card details being out of date, was a letter received? our operator should have checked to see if the card was in date before they passed comment on delivery of your order.
We have to have valid card details for payment of goods at the time of despatching the plants.
Stock of plants are only available for a small window during the spring season and we could not guarantee stock availability after your break.

“ROTTEN PLANTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I thought I would try out this company after looking at their website and take advantage of some of their offers. I placed an order and the first part of it arrived which was 132 Geraniums. I opened them immediately and every single plant was dead or rotten. When I contacted customer service about the issue and offered them photos they were rude and unhelpful and as they had no replacements, they grudgingly agreed to provide a refund after I spoke to a manager. How to waste your money. I placed an order with Parkers for over £100 and the only thing that looks as though it might grow into an established plant is a cherry tree. The rest look as though even if they actually survive they will take at least 10 years to get established. Seven plants were completely dead on arrival. after waiting for over a month for plants, I asked for a refund. They then delivered my plants as they had 'suddenly' been picked, despite me saying i was away on holiday for two weeks. the plants died as they were left out. A few weeks later: replacement plants were sent out. They were much healthier than the original lot - , the first ones were quite straggly and overgrown, as well as having dead foliage and brown roots. So the new 12 - small,, compact, no dead foliage. Potted up and all 12 still alive and growing after several weeks. In fact, looking at the 3 from the first delivery that are still alive and the new ones, I wonder if they are even the same variety. In summary, the first delivery was very poor, the replacement plants absolutely fine. So maybe this company just needs to take a closer look at their plugs before sending them out.

“Dead on arrival”

I ordered some plants which arrived in April in a very poor condition. It was not due to drying out as the soil was moist and the packaging was in good order. When I contacted Parkers I got a rather grudging reply to say that they would replcae although as far as they were concerned the plants left them in good order. Can't comment on actual plants as have been waiting well over 7 weeks for a plants that says on their website 'delivery within 28 days' Another order I placed still says payment pending and hasn't even moved onto being processed! “Very Disappointed, never again”

I ordered the ground cover collection of 30 plants at the back end of winter. They arrived promptly with instructions to plant them a.s.a.p. I thought surely this is the wrong time of year but as I am an amateur, and thought they wouldn't be delivered too early for planting, I put them in the ground. It took all afternoon. I was surprised by how small the plants were (e.g., Heuchera, Campanula). In addition, a lot of rotted leaves and several of the rhizomes I order (Rhubarb, Dicentra) were covered in mould. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the processing of your order. Your order date of 2 March 2016 was scheduled for delivery within 28 days.
We are still within our time limit for the plants to be despatched, however we acknowledge that we were unable to respond as quickly as we would have liked to from your first phone call on 8 March 2016
We were disappointed you did not give us the opportunity to rectify any problems or delays we may have had. Your insistence on speaking to the Managing Director rather than resolving the problem with either our Despatch manager or our Customer Service manager we felt was unreasonable, especially when both managers were trying to offer the completion of your order free of charge along with a full refund.
Despatching plants which are a living product can take longer to despatch unlike any manufactured product, we have to ensure all stock is available from our growers to be sent in one parcel rather than several small individual parcels.
As we previously informed you by email and letter a full refund has been issued for your order.

“Poor quality mouldy tulip bulbs”

I ordered tulip and other bulbs and the quality of the tulips we're so awful (mouldy and shrivelled) I didn't plant them and purchased others from a more reliable supplier. I emailed and got a very curt reply about not storing them properly!! There appears to be no customer care whatsoever and presumably they don't care about repeat customers!
