I'm fortunate enough to live very close to Grasslands and over the years I've spent an absolute fortune (last month over £1000). It's is a wonderful place to visit and has every conceivable plant you could imagine from tiny pots to enormous trees and generally a little cheaper than your local garden centre.
My only complaint is the lack of interest and help from the staff. Only this week I asked for some advice but some of them don't seem to have much knowledge of the plants they stock, I asked for a particular plant and all I got told was 'that's all we've got over there'. Personally I find many of the staff have a bit of an attitude that they don't have to try...but maybe they don't?
I recently ordered a large plant that I needed delivering and I was quoted £10 delivery charge ( I live 1 mile away) so I ordered on line and only paid £5????
Having said that I will still visit as I don't know anywhere else with so much choice.
