This review is extremely late and I have been meaning to do this for ages, however this time last year I was having the time of my life enjoying the last week of my month long trip. I don't know where to even start but if I say that not a day has gone by where I havnt thought about, or spoken about Ghana to family, friends or anyone who will listen - I think it says it all! The volunteering was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip, my personal favourite days were spent in schools meeting children and playing games between working on libraries. The staff, from the teamleaders to the drivers and the staff at both houses were amazing and couldn't do enough to ensure you had the best possible experience, including special birthday bonfires, playing games in the evenings and even coming on evenings out with us. Weekends away at both the national park and the lake were incredible and well organised so we made the most of our time there. A lot of fun was had at Cape Coast during the final few days, everyone had the chance to relax after a busy month with the option to sight see if you wanted.
An unforgettable trip, rewarding and so enjoyable.
