“The best thing for my summer”

Written on: 21/08/2017 by Abbigail175 (1 review written)

hands down the best thing I could have done this summer. I went to London, England with premed and from start to finish, i had the best 2-weeks. Where do I start, the staff, unreal, always wanting the best for you and always wanting to help with whatever silly question or request i had. The other students, well you cant get to pick them but I had an awesome group! I shared with 11 other guys in a large room and we had a blast! The experience, great in the hospitals, we went to about 5 different… Read Full Review

“Amazing”

Written on: 26/07/2017 by tessaallover (1 review written)

Had an absolute Ball in London, I didn't want to go overseas to work in a hospital, I wanted to stay in the UK and I enjoyed every part of my experience. There is hands down, no way i could have arranged all the things that Premed Projects were able to arrange and I feel more confident with my personal statement, MMI and UKcat. I feel ready to start my applications and would do it all again given the chance… Read Full Review

“London Premed Projects This is my review of my trip...”

Written on: 01/07/2017 by mehataz (1 review written)

London Premed Projects This is my review of my trip to London in February 2017 In a nutshell, it was fantastic. there was a large group of us, over 30, all staying next to Tower Bridge in London in dorms. It's scary when you don't know anyone and just have to make friends but everyone is the same so its actually really easy. I made best friends with the girls in my room and over the course of the week, we did everything together. I arrived direct at the accommodation so I can't comment on how… Read Full Review

“Valuable Opportunity”

Written on: 15/03/2017 by Pritchard191 (1 review written)

I enjoyed my time spent in London and the opportunity it provided me to learn more about medicine. I met loads of people from all over the world on the trip and found it immensely valuable for my applications to medicine from the UAE. I still mention it a lot in conversation, which shows how much fun I had I guess! … Read Full Review

“London Experience”

Written on: 04/03/2017 by AidanScott (1 review written)

Seeing how difficult it is to get work experience in hospitals, I came across Premed Projects from my teacher as she knows how much I want to go into medicine. You really need work experience before you apply and I signed up to 1-weeks in London during February. I got the train from Manchester and when I stepped off I met at least 15 other students and the Premed Staff waiting in the station. We waited and got a bus to take us to the accommodation which was really nice. It took us a little… Read Full Review

“Thailand Premed Project July 2016”

Written on: 29/11/2016 by bee00 (1 review written)

I travelled from Stockport to Thailand with Premed Projects and had a great time. I’m 16 and want to become a midwife. There wasn’t anyone on my flight and I travelled alone and was met by the staff, very easy to see when I landed. We then took another flight straight away up to Chang Mai and I met up with the rest of the group. There was 25 students on my project and I stay in touch with many of them, sounds clicjed but you really do get to meet lifelong friends on the trip so don’t… Read Full Review

“My London Experience”

Written on: 23/08/2016 by KaylinLeslie (1 review written)

17 years old and my first trip abroad without family and I loved every minute of it. I arrived at the airport nervous and not knowing what to expect but found our leader in Terminal 5 with no problems and got to know the rest of some of the students who had arrived by plane. I had a long 13 hour flight from Hong Kong and I did have to wait another 2 hours in London airport before we took the tansport to the hostel so when I got there I was very thankful to see my bed! We had a few hours to… Read Full Review

“PreMed experience in India”

Written on: 16/08/2016 by Warren7 (1 review written)

Thank you for giving our daughter the chance to undertake PreMed work experience in India. It was a fabulous opportunity for her, and one which really helped her to crystalize her career plans. In particular, it was a real privilege for her to be able to watch a surgical operation, in which a patient's gall bladder was removed. This experience is not offered in UK hospitals to students of 16, and so was of great benefit to her in terms of deciding her own future direction in medicine. It… Read Full Review

“Bangkok and Chiang Mai”

Written on: 12/08/2016 by whitey662 (1 review written)

A huge thank you to Oil and the rest of the Premed team for my trip. We spent the first week in Chiang Mai in north of Thailand where we did sightseeing, and went to 3 different hospitals, clay pot making, cookery courses, elephant bathing and walking. My second week was in Bangkok where we visited another 3 hospitals, markets and temples. The guys were so amazing in organizing my trip and everything was included, from all lunches to entrance fees to activities too. The house in our second week… Read Full Review

“2-weeks in London”

Written on: 04/08/2016

I did the London project this summer. We visited imperial med school, St georges hospital, St Thomas’ hospital amongst many others. I particularly liked the workshops on applying to medical school which were informative and really useful when it comes to applying in October to medical school. Our hostel accommodation was really fun and we had a great time there getting to know eachother. A huge thank you to the staff team, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were amazing. “Great time”

Written on: 19/07/2016 by LauraM11 (1 review written)

Initially, when I signed up for premed I was nervous, thinking that I would struggle to fit in with other students or would find the tasks too challenging. However, premed was one of my best experiences, I loved the people on my course, the activities were accessible and enjoyable, and though we were engaging in medical tasks with being in London and being allowed to roam around London the experience felt very relaxed. I would definitely recommend to those who wish to pursue a career in… Read Full Review

“An amazing adventure in india ”

Written on: 22/06/2016 by Fletcher299 (1 review written)

The first thing i did just before paying for my premed projects trip to india for my half term was check this site for a review. There where only 4 but all gave giving 4 stars or more. I was still sceptical because of the vague detail though. My group members also went through a similar dilema. It was spectacular. after meeting the other students at the airport we where all taken to a halfway house and then on to the service lodge where we would be staying for the next 6 days. it was way up in… Read Full Review

“Experience to remember”

Written on: 15/03/2016 by Gia357 (1 review written)

At 16 I was very nervous and my parents were about travelling alone to India but after weeks of asking I managed to get my parents to agree to let me join the india project. I travelled a few weeks ago and had such an amazing time seeing India with other students and the time spent in the hospitals was truely eye opening and an amazing experience. I spent time in obstetrics and saw c sections, saw general surgeries too and just so much more than I could have ever dreamed of seeing! The staff… Read Full Review

“India Adventure and amazing hospital experience”

Written on: 14/03/2016 by Shields453 (1 review written)

I was nervous booking a trip to India at 16 and my parents were too but im so pleased I did and had the best time. I travelled to India with Premed Projects during my school holidays. This was honestly the best trip ive ever been on and it opened my eyes so much to medicine around the world and how lucky we are in the western world to have access to the facilities we have. The whole journey made me see that medicine is universal but that we all practice it in different ways and it made me… Read Full Review

“It was good”

Written on: 09/03/2016 by Sheridanvs181 (1 review written)

So I went to India February 2016 to complete work experience in the midwifery hospital in Palampur. I thoroughly enjoyed my week and was able to experience 2 c-sections which secured my mind that that is the correct career path I would like to follow. Sadly we missed our flight home due to the fact there were riots in Delhi and the Indian part of the team 'Volunteering India' were faultless I couldn't have asked for any more of them throughout the entire time. However, the U.K. based team I… Read Full Review

Thanks to the staff and doctors for a great half term week in Gillingham. The project leaders were great and i enjoyed the seminars and the teaching sessions. Doctor was amazing in explaining in great detail about medical procedures and let us use lots of equipment in the hospital too. We had a chance to experience endoscopy during the week which was an experience ill never forget! My only criticism was the lack of lunch choices which could be changed as they did get repetitive somewhat after a… Read Full Review

attended the Premed course in August and was placed just outside of london with other students. we aware all collected from the train station and taken to local accommodation where we spent our week. The week was informative in preparation for medical school and I found the lectures to be very good also. I did my project over bank holiday so one of my days was shorter than expected in the hospital but overall I don't have any complaints, had a great time with great people and enjoyed it… Read Full Review
