Thailand Experience AMAZING!

REAL GAP - THAILAND EXPERIENCE - DEC 2013

This was my first time traveling alone and to a place other than the usual holiday destinations eg Spain, Greece so I was nervous, excited, anxious and had so many mixed emotions about the trip but I had nothing to worry about!

I had the best month of my life, met friends that I will stay in touch with forever. We have only been back two weeks and we are already planning a date to meet up.

From the moment I was picked up from the airport I loved Thailand, it's such a special country and the places that you visit on this trip is off the beaten track which I loved. Volunteering was one of the best experiences of my life. Fancy dress party, all the temples are stunning, markets, meditating, the locals, erawan waterfalls, tiger temple, floating market and so much more.

Money, everything is so cheap in thailand. I took £800 and spent it, I took the caxton card and it was brilliant. There are ATMs everywhere.

I took a rucksack and I would again, one girl on our trip had a suitcase and the only reason I would take a rucksack is because every hotel on our trip had stairs and it was easier with a rucksack.

Although it's thailand and it's warm, take a jumper and long trousers. although you can buy this in Bangkok.

Throw yourself into every experience available, try all the food and learn about the culture it's just amazing!

I'd go back to Thailand in a heartbeat :)
