I'm so glad I didn't read any of the ridiculous reviews on this website before going. It would seem that for a few of them, they've made an error and are looking to blame somebody else for their stupidity. I absolutely loved the experience! I found the coordinators very friendly and helpful and not having the hassle of organizing activities was great. A common complaint seems to be that the staff aren't out there. Aside from this not being true, you wouldn't want a lot of staff out there anyway. I found it so refreshing how free I was to do my own thing. The staff told me all the relevant information about the scheduled activities and I didn't feel pressured into doing any of them. The accommodation was excellent with the exception of Sangklaburi but that was to be expected. Unfortunately, Real Gap can't take credit for the best part of the holiday, the group of travellers who were great fun and we got on so well. However, Real Gap can take credit for organisisng fantastic activities, setting up great voluntary programs and providing a perfectly balanced itinery, without which I wouldn't have had the best month of my Life. Don't listen to these negative reviews. The common theme is the author making a mistake themselves. Thank you real gap for providing me with the best experience of my life.

Thanks for this review, very helpful. I was just wondering, if it's not being too cheeky, how much would you say you spent altogether? Obviously you have to pay for your flight and to go with real gap but did you find yourself spending a lot more to enjoy yourself whilst in Thailand? Or would you say that the majority is all included within the initial payment? Thanks again!
