A transformative experience from a capable company

Projects Abroad was a huge help in preparing and giving advice about the trip. The myprojectsabroad website was really helpful with information about visas and vaccinations as well as a checklist of the sorts of things you should bring which is specific to your course. I never had any trouble getting into contact with the organisers before I left who encourage you to email or call if you have any questions. The supervisors were always looking for negative feedback so that they could improve the course - they never got any from me!

My course itself was wonderfully organised with supportive supervision from our group supervisors who we became very close with. I was part of a special program so our timetable was more rigid but it was very balanced from day to day and kept our group interested and engaged. The host family we were given was very experienced and welcoming - they loved to have us around. The food that was made for us was fantastic but it did get a bit repetitive with the same sorts of food being served every day. One in our group was gluten intolerant but once this was mentioned to our host mother she only made food that we could all eat!
